First of all, let me start out by saying that there are many different paths, and they all differ in use of tools in magick,
including colors.
Colors are merely tools we use, to ease ourselves into the state of mind in which we need to be, to perform our work. This
is not to say that color is totally unimportant; colors can be quite useful no matter one's skill.
By applying a label (nee: usage) to a color, we are automatically applying the energy pertaining to that label, to the object
which holds that color. Hence, when we see yellow, we might automatically think "dispelling grief", which makes it that much
easier to call up intent for just that purpose.
I have heard it said that certain colors are "wrong" for certain tasks. This statement is only partly true. The truth is,
the colors have to mean something to the person projecting the energy into the object. If your teacher tells you that blue
stands for peace, but to you it says sadness; then it will not work well for you, if you are "forced" (by yourself or others)
to use blue for peace.
Magick comes from the very soul of the practitioner. If one feels wary about using a tool of any kind, the ritual will not
find fruition, because of the self-doubt that is also put into the work in which that tool is used.
I am providing below, the color charts I've learned from different sources along my own path. I am also providing my own
personal color chart as an example.
Relax, concentrate on the colors, and ask yourself what they mean to you, before you decide on your own personal color chart
to guide you in your work.
